Hello all. Just checking in to let you know that right now we’re pit-stopping at the Toad River Lodge, only 117 miles from Fort Nelson, BC, making good time on our trip back to the lower 48.

We had some trouble getting out of the driveway at Indian Valley Meats back in Alaska. The crew there told us to hang out so we could attend their annual hoorah at the Brown Bear Pub. Walter took about five hours and four potfulls of motor oil boiled on the stove to get himself cranked. But since we hit the road, he’s been cranking fine. Until next time…
