We’ve made it safe and sound back to the big apple where Felicia has a month long engagement of performances at the Tracy Williams art gallery in Chelsea.
We already miss the comfortable rhythms we had fallen into parked alongside Tom and Sam and family at Adlai’s land. Bowie has been a bit restless as Felicia took him for a couple of days to the city and I stayed with the bus to drain our oil pan to weld a rust spot which was leaking and bolt down some heavy furniture in the bus for safety.
Now the bus is parked in Park Slope, Brooklyn, between a Con Ed power station and a cemetery; a grave reminder that we NEED to gain electrical independence soon.
After our first performance in the gallery tonight I will focus on finding sponsorship in the form of solar panels and deep cycle batteries.

Do you have any documentation of the solar panel you made for the ‘ultimate boom box’?
YES!
